The crazy idea with blowing into the lid switch is something I'm going to try. I just bought this Whirlpool washer, and cleaned it and I think water got into the lid switch because it just keeps clicking and clicking and blinking locked but will not start. I've tried to reset, the diagnostic reset, and the door slam reset.
